About 2AM
2AM is a South Korean boy band. They were formed when 13 members participated in the documentary “Hot Blood,” which follows band members through the rigorous training necessary to become a successful boy band.
That band, One Day, was then split into two bands as 2AM and 2PM. The group debuted on July 11, 2008, on KBS’ Music Bank with their first single “This Song.” They won their first award on February 7, 2010, with the single “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die.”
2AM went on tour and opened for the girl group Wonder Girls in 2010. They also appeared in the reality show “Made in Wonder Girls.” The band released music in South Korea and Japan in 2012. They released the single “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls,” and it charted at number four on the Oricon Daily charts.
In 2013, the group released their first Japanese album Voice. It contained four new songs along with their previously released singles.
In 2015, members Seulong and Jinwoon did not renew their contracts with JYP. The agency was quick to point out the group was not disbanding.

Jokwon Bio
Jokwon is a South Korean singer and actor born in Suwon, South Korea. He is best known as a member of the boy band 2AM. Jokwon trained with JYP Entertainment for seven years.
In 2008, Jokwon appeared on the reality show “Hot Blood.” It was a reality program showing the rigorous training necessary to be in a Kpop group. At the end of the show, he became a member of the newly formed group One Day. That band was then split into two groups, 2AM and 2PM. Jokwon won a place with the ballad band 2AM.
2AM debuted in July 2008, when they released their first single “This Song.” The group went on to tour and released music in South Korea and Japan. While touring, Jokwon appeared in variety shows and television series.
In 2009, Jokwon joined the cast of variety show “We Got Married.” He was paired with singer Ga-In from the girl group Brown Eyed Girls, and they brought in the highest ratings yet for that show. Jokwon became ill during the shooting of the show and the filming was postponed until he got healthy again. Jokwon released a single with Ga-In titled “We Fell In Love,” which topped the music charts and won two awards.
Jokwon released his first solo digital single titled “The Day I Confessed,” in 2010. The song landed at number one on Cyworld music charts the day after it was released. And then in 2012, he released his first solo album titled I’m Da One, along with the music video.
In 2013, Jokwon joined the cast of the musical “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Later that year he was in the television series “Queen of the Office.”
Jokwon’s last album Crosswalk, was released in 2016. It included three tracks, two of which Jokwon wrote and composed.
JYP Entertainment announced in 2017, that Jokwon left after his contract expired. He then joined Cube Entertainment and released one digital single “Lonely.” He enlisted in the military in August 2018.

Changmin Bio
Changmin is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known as a member of the group 2AM. He studied at the Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts.
Changmin was part of a reality show “Hot Blood,” where they followed a group of boys training to be a part of a new band, One Day. That band was then split into 2AM and 2PM. Changmin won a part with 2AM and they debuted in 2008.
Changmin collaborated with the singers Jo Kwon and Melody Day and released singles with each of them.
In 2010, Changmin joined singer Lee Hyun and they formed the duo, Homme. He starred in the musicals “La Cage,” “The Three Musketeers,” and “Friends.” Changmin was in a total of eight television series from 2009 to 2016.
Changmin was nominated for several awards but only won once for outstanding theme song. He collaborated on several soundtracks from 2009 to 2018.
Changmin left JYP Entertainment in 2015 and then signed with Big Hit Entertainment. And in 2018, he formed his own one-man agency called The Bsky. He finished his military service before his debut with 2AM in 2008.

Seulong is a South Korean singer and actor who was born in Seoul, South Korea. He studied theater at Daejin University and went on to graduate school at Kyunghee University.
Seulong participated in the reality show “Hot Blood,” which showed the intense training necessary to become a member of the new group One Day. The group was then split into two groups, 2AM and 2PM.
He became a member of the ballad group 2AM. They debuted in 2008 with their single “This Song.” The group had a slow start but with their follow-up releases, they became much more popular. He toured with 2AM and released music in Japan and South Korea.
In 2009, Seulong joined the variety show “Wild Bunny,” performing a parody of Brown Eyed Girls’ single “Abracadabra.” The video was extremely popular. He appeared in five different movies and several television series.
Seulong collaborated with singer IU for a single titled “Nagging.” It topped several charts in 2010.
In 2013, Seulong collaborated with singer Avicii to remake the single “Levels.” Before the song was released, Avicii’s vocals were replaced with autotune and the single was re-released as “Levels With Seulong From 2AM.” The song did well on the charts.
Seulong performed with bandmate Taecyeon at the “2014 JYP Nation One” concert. They sang the single “U Don’t Kno,” which was co-written by the duo.
Seulong switched agencies in 2015, he signed with SidusHQ. JYP Entertainment stated this did not mean 2AM was disbanding. He enlisted in the military on November 28, 2017.

Jinwoon is a South Korean singer and actor. He was born in Seoul, South Korea. He graduated from BaekAhm High School with the highest SAT scores at that school. He went on to study theater and visual arts at Daejin University. Jinwoon can play the piano, guitar, drums, and guitar. He is most known as a member of the boy group 2AM.
Jinwoon joined the reality show “Hot Blood,” which follows 13 trainees vying for a spot with a new boy band, One Day. He was originally eliminated, but one of the chosen members had to return to the U.S. so Jinwoon was put in his spot. The band One Day then split into two different groups, 2AM and 2PM.
Jinwoon was chosen for the ballad group 2AM. The group debuted in 2008, with a rather slow start, but with the release of more music, they became quite successful touring and releasing music in South Korea and Japan.
In 2010, Jinwoon began his acting career. He starred in the variety show “Maknae Rebellion.” He also co-hosted KBS Music Bank in 2013.
In 2011, he made his solo debut with the single “You Walking Towards Me,” which he composed. It was followed by a two-track mini-album containing the singles “Now or Never,” and “Psycho,” which he wrote.
He held his first concert in Seoul on November 25, 2011. His label then announced he was being mentored by the rock band YB. Jinwoon was trying to be more of a rock and roll performer than the typical boy band singer. He then joined the rock group YB and released the single “If Not Now.”
Jinwoon appeared in six television dramas from 2011 to 2018. He was also on the variety show “Law of the Jungle” three times. He won an award for that appearance. He was also a contestant on “King of Mask Singer.” Jinwoon left his label and signed with Mystic Entertainment in 2015.
