One of the freshest groups to arrive on the scene, Everglow was officially formed on March 18, 2019 with the album Arrival of Everglow. Best described as a hybrid of modern R&B, Pop and House music Everglow continues to push the global K-Pop scene forward as they are still in the formative stages of molding a unique identity and a more ubiquitous commercial and musical presence.
Three years before their debut, now lead vocalist Sihyeon competed in the first season of MNET’s television competition Produce 101 in 2016, her 40th place finish was good enough to secure a contract with Yuehua entertainment.
Sihyeon returned to the competition for its third season, bringing fellow trainees Yena and Yiren. Yena would go her own way, becoming a part of girl group Iz One, Sihyeon and Yiren were both eliminated in the 11th episode, finishing 27th and 28th, respectively.
Onda competed in MNET’s Idol School in 2017. she finished 40th after being eliminated by the fourth episode.
Having garnered enough attention from their respective musical exhibitions, Yuehua Entertainment took heed and revealed on February 17, 2019 that they would debut a new girl group named Everglow.
The following day, a fan cafe and Instagram were established and their introduction was revealed through the “Crank In Film” series on Stone Music Entertainment’s YouTube Channel, with promotional material having been released on March 8.
Their first album Arrival of Everglow and the single “Bon Bon Chocolat” were both released on March 18. On March 21, they made their initial stage debut on MNET’s M Countdown.
Their releases enjoyed subsequent commercial success, Arrival of Everglow peaked at #6 on the Gaon Album Chart, selling more than 17,000 copies as of July 2019; “Bon Bon Chocolat” made #5 on the World Digital Songs Sales Chart.
They’re current album, Hush came out on August 19 along with lead single, “Adios” which the group very recently performed on @Show! Music Core on September 21, 2019.

she was eliminated after the eighth episode, achieving 40th place. After elimination, she remained persistent; signing with Yuehua Entertainment and training for two more years.

While she did not capture the crown, her training paid dividends as she was eliminated in episode 11 after achieving 27th place in a significantly smaller pool of contestants.

Born In Huangzhou, China Yiren is the youngest member of Everglow at 18 years and 9 months old. She was a contestant on Produce 48, making it into 28th place after being eliminated in episode 11, but in turn was voted the #1 Visual center on the basis of her bedazzling beauty and grace.
As a reference, the visual center is defined as the best looking member of the group, sometimes referred to solely as the visual. When she was eliminated, she signed on with Yuehua and undertook the standard 2 years of training before her introduction as the fourth member of Everglow.
Being the only member of the group from outside of Korea, Yiren expresses this special distinction through her mastery of Chinese dance. Her role models share similar traits; SNSD’s Yuna is part of her respective group’s dance trio and Jun Ji-Hyun was a model from a very early age, signing a contract back in 1997.
Aisha is Jiren’s best friend, and they both share a mutual distaste for fish. Pomeranian is her nickname, and during her down time cooking and shopping are her prerogative.
